CONTINUING EDUCATION

Emergency First Response training teaches you what to do in the critical moments between when a life-threatening emergency occurs and when emergency medical services arrive.

Learn how to perform CPR, provide first aid that eases pain, assess a variety of injuries and illnesses and practice bandaging and splinting. Even though this course is a pre-requisite for Rescue Diver and Divemaster course, this course is open for public.

About the Course

CPR and First Aid: Emergency First Response Primary and Secondary Care Course is a must-have skill for anyone interested in adventure sports. In this course, you will learn what to do in the critical moments that happen during an emergency while waiting for medical services to arrive. Emergency First Response course trains you to handle a medical emergency in a controlled, positive environment.

Course Journey

Step 1. PADI eLearning

Enrol in PADI eLearning and start the course by watching videos of different first aid techniques and learn what steps to take in an emergency.

 

  • Time to complete: 2-4 hours.

Step 2. Practical lessons

Our PADI certified instructors are also a Emergency First Response Instructors. You will learn emergency techniques such as CPR; serious bleeding and spinal injury management; concious and unconcious choking adult; bandaging and splinting for dislocated or fractured bones, etc.

 

  • Time to complete: 4-8 hours.

Even though this course is a pre-requisite for Rescue Diver and Divemaster course, this course is open for public.

  • The Primary and Secondary Care Participant Manual and video.
  • The Emergency First Response Care at a Glance card.

No medical requirement is necessary for this course.

This course is a requirement to Divemaster course.

Next certification level: Emergency First Respond Instructor.
